I plan on living full time for six months this winter [warm climates only] and would like to know if anyone has run their fridge 24/7. Whether it was on shore power or gas, if you've experienced any problems.
Thanks

While not for long periods of time, I did run my fridge on gas for 3 days, then shore power 4 days, then back to gas for 3 days this last week with no problems.
The only problem I have is the middle shelf will sometimes get too cold and freeze my produce – not the bottom of the fridge or the top shelf. I have to have the setting below 4 for it not to freeze.
And I was really surprised how much I could pack in that little fridge. I had 3 full plastic bags of groceries in the fridge and another bag in the freezer.

I ran mine (as a test) for a month on LP. No problems.
This will help keep the cool air circulating to prevent one area being colder than the other.

Wow, the fridge must not use much propane.

I did refill the tank about halfway through, but used some propane playing around the trailer. This is most likely why I had to refill it. I did use a lot experimenting with all the funcstions of said trialer so I would know them.

And just an FYI – reading the KZ brochure yesterday, the all electric is 4.6, the propane/electric is 3. Evidently, the gas fins take up quite a bit of space.

Thanks for all the info, and sandersmr, I didn't know the 4.6 was elec. and the 3 is prop/elec, good look'n out. I'm just curious if I run the frig 24/7 for say 4 months if it'll over heat. I've always been used to run'n a small [3.2] dorm like frig on shore/gen or inverter for up to 6 months straight. I don't know anything about the units in the KZ.
