We camped here this past April, which is off-season around these parts. Scusset's two main attractions are the beach along Cape Cod Bay and the Cape Cod Canal. It is a beach-goer's and deep-sea fisheman's delight. The campground itself offers few amenities, other than water and electric. Dumping is handled by a single station along the entrance road. Flat as a pancake and with short trees typical of seaside locations, sun and wind are in abundance. Don't even think of trying to drop in for a few nights in-season, as the place is typically reserved in full by the end of January each year. If you do go, make sure to have plenty of water hose (like at least 150'), as the water supply station are typically located central to four or more sites. Electric here is typically right beside the driveway. Be sure to bring your bike, rollerblades, walking/running shoes, beach chairs and fishing poles, but don't bring any firewood. The only fires allowed here are at the community fire pit near the entrance to the campground, and you have to buy the wood there. I can't tell you anything about the faclities, as they weren't open when we were there. But that's why we have our trailers, right?
