Just gave up scamp after several (5) over the years but at $16,000 for a new one – just too much for what you get.  Then I found the classic 16bh and for the money its' great!  Pick it up next Friday.  The quality on these units amazes me.  The last time I looked at a non-fiberglass trailer was in the early 1990s and it was really poor.

I like the weight (less than my 16 ft scamp) and it fits in my garage, has a real tub, and a lot more bed.  As my wife put it "no more sleeping in the curve".

So unless there are some real "land mines " out there we are looking toward many years of camping.

Glad to find the club!

I've been on several camping trips in my 16Bh since we got it 6 months ago.  We've had some minor stuff, nothing major.  In fact, it's in the shop right now getting some minor stuff cleaned up as my warranty just ran out.  Got it in the day before.

But we have enjoyed having it.  I took the top bunk half out and that has opened it up for us.

Wow, another recovering egg-aholic!  I sold my '93 Burro in December and decided, like you, to go KZ.  New Scamps and Casitas in 16' are just too expensive for me.  Picked up my Spree Escape E14RB on Saturday, and no regrets about not getting molded FG.

Welcome back to the 'square' campers!  Laugh  I guess I'm a square, so I may as well camp in one.
