hi, we are ron and sue, proud owners of a 14rb. we took delivery of our little dream machine earlier this month and have since spent a long weekend at fall creek falls and we are already planning our next escape.  the only issue so far was a warm refrigerator but hopefully the local norcold guys can help us with that.  sue has already decorated some, and we have both been inspired by some of the pictures of modifications that have been done.  we intend to follow your lead and help prove to the world once and for all that bigger is not better.Wink

Oh I love Fall Creek Falls, although I've never camped there – did stay at the Lodge.  And I'm sure you will love your 14RB.  That's the one I almost got, then find the 16BH.

thanks. but oh, you have palo-duro and cap rock canyons….. now thats camping!  we have tent camped there, love it and we intend to go back after we get used to towing. (and the much decresed gas mileage our truck will get) nothing like coyotes at sundown.

"Choo-choo City"???  The only place that comes to mind for me is Chattanooga, TN. I was there in November visiting a friend. Looking forward to returning soon because we had rainy weather and I didn't get to see all that I wanted.

Congratulations on your new 14RB. I get my E14RB in a few weeks now and am anxiously waiting.

Keep us posted on your travels … also I would be interested to know what the problem was with the fridge.

Regards

Karsty

I camped overnight at Palo Duro last year on my way to Colorado – it's on my list to go back as a destination so that I can more thorughly enjoy it.  Haven't been to Cap Rock yet but it's on my list.

You also have GSMNP – now that's a great place

Its official!  After checking the Atlantic coast extended forecast one more time, we made the desicion to head west instead!  I booked our campsite reservations this afternoon.  We'll be staying at Palo Duro for three nights, then head out to the Grand Canyon for the rest of the trip.  Will give a report when we get back ;-)

Indeed, GSMNP is wonderful.  We're lucky to have it at our doorstep!

Happy Camping!

Julie

Take your warm coats and layers just in case, Julie.  The south rim is at 6800 feet and cold spells can happen.  Enjoy your trip!
