Hi there,
I`m new to the forum and I don`t have a KZ yet. I`ll be picking up a 2011 14 RB this week after I get the new hitch, sway bars, trailer brakes and transmission cooler installed on a 07 Dodge Caravan. Is there any questions I should ask at the dealership before taking this trailer home . The plan is to use it for the two of us and drive anywhere we like in the New England States. A little hotel roon on wheels. Any input will be great.
Cheers

Welcome aboard! My wife and I are in our second season of camping in our 2011 14RB and absolutely love it. We tow with our '06 Town and Country. 3.8 V6 with the factory tow package. 14RB tows beautifully behind the minivan . . . . . I've had no need for WD gear and have never experienced any sway issues. Everything in/on the trailer has performed perfectly and we get lots of questions at gas stations and rest stops about our "baby trailer"! Enjoy it and have fun!!

Congrats on the purchase! I just picked mine up this past week and have started working on all the fantastic mods located in this forum. One thing the dealer mentioned to me on the walkthrough is that many of the newer ones are coming with no anode installed on the hot water heater. I'm not sure if this is typical or not, but mine did have one, and he said I was lucky as they typically do not. Might want to check on that. This is my first TT but I was also surprised it did not have the sewer hose. My immediate purchase list included wheel chocks, sewer hose, water pressure regulator and fresh water hose. Enjoy!

sounds like a good plan!
You will find that other than being a little low to the ground (which has its benefits too) it is perfect for two. As far as what to ask, everyone has already covered that, manuals (don't be surprised if they don't have them, an e-mail to customer service will fix that but make the dealer sweat anyway.) etc.
With us it was a couple of little things like not having the plexi-glass sliding door handle cover on the screen door, a screw missing off the stove, and missing stabilizer jacks that evidently had been "stolen" off the lot the night before , so give it a good look. honestly, the most complicated feature of the entire vehicle is the awning. master that and watch a couple of utubes on backing into your site and you have learned grasshopper.
