We are the proud new owners of a 2012 240BH. Broke it in this past weekend and already have a second trip planned in October. Love the forums, already found answers to several questions on here!

Just got back from Oktoberfest in Fredericksburg, TX., as planned. Had a great time. Nothing like seeing a few hundred people drinking and doing the Chicken Dance, @ 9A.M. All kinds of food and entertainment throughout the day(s). Lots to do in the area, Texas White House, Lady Bird Park, old forts, wild flower seed orchards, bat caves…3 million of them, Luckenbach Tx, Nimitz museum, and on and on…. Stayed at a nice park right down town, Fredericksburg RV Park.

We've stayed at that park. It was nice. Were the grackles out? I had never seen them before and there were lots of them. It was pretty cool to hear them "chirping". The RV park owner said it didn't take long to get tired of the novelty 
we loved Fredericksburg.

No notable invasion from those winged friends, but they're pretty prevalent throughout TX. They're rather entertaining, aren't they?
