These little trailers seem to fit the bill for my needs. I am looking at a 2010 KZ 14RB locally and am wondering what is a fair price to offer? I live in Colorado if it makes a difference.

It depends on how it is equipped. $6500 would be bare bones, no options I suspect.
The local dealer, Bell's Camper Sales in Bartlesville, was offering 14RBs for $8500 reasonably equipped. You can check their website to see what they stock and compare that to what you're seeing in your area.
