Finallygot the 14RB home, and have had some fun making improvements. We ordered it with a few extras to hopefully increase our available camping time — an 18W solar maintainer/charger with 3-stage controller, added a second group 24 battery, and a basic Fantastic Fan. We'll be 'off the grid' for the vast majority of the time, and noisy generators annoy the heck out of me (camping=serenity). Once we got it home, I added rubberized shelf liner, and custom-fit a clear plexiglass backsplash around the range and sink to protect the walls, and make it easier to clean. I could have used some double-sided tape, but opted for clear Velcro 'coins'. This way the panels can be removed and put back if needed. I think the biggest improvement was to add shelving to the wardrobe closet area. Maybe my wife and I aren't 'refined' enough to go camping with clothes that need to be on hangers . I installed adjustable vertical supports for Rubbermaid type white wire shelves on the inside of the cabinet area. I'll try to put some pictures below (pre-apologies), but the rest can be seen here. Feel free to make suggestions or ask questions.
Thanks all!

That was a good idea to mount the vertical framework on the face where you don't really see it. You don't have to worry if you take the shelves out then. We used Velcro to mount wood molding on the sides and then rested our shelves on the molding.

Julie-
I really like the fabric drawers you found! I may have to break down and support the former felon myself We were a little worried about having some small things drop though the wire, and had intended to use either sticky-backed or rubberized shelf liner, but those drawers look pretty spiffy!
I didn't remove the hanger holder bar at the top either…it doesn't hurt anything to leave it. There is that ultra-slight possibility of using it someday. And…I'd lose track of it if I were to ever take it down.
Happy camping!

Some updates:
Although my wife and I aren't entertainment junkies, I thought it'd be nice to be able to watch the news or a movie if we're doing a road trip. I was able to find an 8″ DVD/TV/radio combination at Wally World for less than $100, and decided the best place to install it would be underneath the kitchen cupboard over the countertop. The only drawback I encountered was that there wasn't enough room with the valence installed, so I ended up taking it off, but it could easily be reinstalled later if wanted. Initially I was thinking I'd have to power the TV with an inverter, but it turns out the unit is 12V DC anyway, so I tossed the converter it came with and got a $15 cigarette lighter plug adapter to power it directly. I suppose I could have wired it direct with an in-line fuse…but I got scared
Another project was to make some levelers. The plastic sets seem nice, but seem a little spendy and maybe not durable(?). So with a treated 2x6x8, I made my own. It stacks up to 3 high for about 4 1/2″ of leveling. I think the main drawback will be the weight, but I think it's a good trade for the durability.
I also made some pads for the stabilizers — hopefully make a bigger 'footprint' so it doesn't gouge into loose turf.
Pictures for all, and better descriptions, can be seen here.
Happy camping!

How did you run the wiring for the internal fridge fan? I've been wanting to do this for some time. Thanks

Two things: I'm not an electrical expert of any kind, and I'm all thumbs trying to do this with the new
Iphone so I hope it goes okay
Basically I got some speaker wire, switch, and fan from Radio Shack. It was easy to use an existing hot and ground line in back of the water heater area. I put the hot side to/from the switch, and put the wire underneath the edge cover piece between the fridge and water heater area. Pics below (assuming they work) probably tell the story better. I'll be back at a regular computer tomorrow if it doesn't post right.

Sorry the photo editing didin't work. Let's try that again with links. Descriptions are below the photos. Interesting to note the only hole created in the install was for the switch.

Let me know if you have any questions!

What a great idea. I just did it and it solved our storage issues! So easy!
