After a few trips and getting familiar with our 16BH, we came up with a few modifications that meet our needs. Since we do all cooking outdoors, the stove top was more or less a waste of space for us. The wife found a 22 inch square "butcher block" style tray at the local Tuesday Morning store and with only a fraction of an inch trimming from the inside rim of the tray it fit perfectly over the stove. Now we use this space for the coffee pot.
After eons of shopping, looking, browsing, etc. and not finding the "perfect" thing (guys, you know what I mean) the wife made these bed covers and pillow cases. She also made the curtains and valances you see in the pictures. We added the mini blind over the bunk window.
We needed a more convenient place to store towels, washcloths, and shampoos. We bought these racks at Lowes. Each unit consist of 4 racks each, but there wasn't room for both so I cut off 1 rack from the second unit and fitted them together. Turned out to be great for our needs. Never mind the Mickey Mouse curtains…….it seems the older we get, the closer we get to our second childhood.
I had to add 1 more pic. This was last Fall at Longpool Recreation Area in the Ozark National Forest just north of Dover, AR. This is a GREAT place to get away. Less than 50 feet behind our camp is Piney Creek which is a Class III whitewater river (see http://mooreoutdoors.com). From the camp you can also access hundreds of miles of ATV, mountain bike, and horseback trails.

I love all three of your mods. Of course, I only have the one bunk now, but I'm still looking for the perfect solution to dress it.
And your towel storage is one I may steal. I currently store mine in the closet that I modified to add shelves, but if I can get them in the bathroom (where they belong), then I could free the closet up for, say, clothes!!!
And as far as my shower curtain, I found one with pockets that I use to store our bath "stuff"

How did you mount the towel racks to the wall?

Jim,
The racks comes with very substantial brackets that you mount then snap the rack into. In my trailer there is a stud at the corner of the wall and another about 16 inches to the right-perfect for mounting the rack. After measuring twice, I mounted the clamps to the wall with the screws provided and the rack snapped VERY securely into them. No worries about them falling while travelling, even when loaded with towels.
Sorry I didn't save the tags with the model# that were on the racks. I believe we found them in the storage and container area of Lowe's, not the bath section.

Thanks for the info. By the way, we got the same shower curtain.
