Hi everyone,
After loading lots of our gear into the new camper yesterday, I don't envision using the "closet" as a closet. Has anybody added shelving to this space, and if so how did you do it. Thinking it might be great as a 2nd pantry type space.
Thanks.

I used wire closetmaid type shelving cut to the proper width. I cut and screwed stips of 1/2 inch pine to support it. Other folks have installed the supports that are made for the shelving making them adjustable.

I used some heavy duty Velcro to attach some half inch supports to the sides of the closet, then used the wire shelving cut to size. I used the Velcro so that I wasn't actually making holes in the closet walls. It's held up for several months that way. I was able to get 3 shelves in the closet.
I still use my closet for clothes, but have them on the shelves rather than hanging. One thing I do is roll a lot of my clothes. I learned that from packing in duffels to minimize wrinkling in the duffel but it also prevents a lot of shifting in the closet.
