Well im out here at the lake camping with some friends and one of them has one of those EZ FLUSH units you flush out your holding tanks with so I asked how well it worked for him. He got it out to show me the unit and I asked if he thought it would fit on my 14RK's sewer outlet since mine is rather low to the ground..well after turning it this way and that way trying to make it work, doesnt look like its going to…the blade valves get in the way of the unit no matter how I mount the EZ FLUSH on it..so now I will have to explore a different flush out system to fit on my trailers waste pipe.

Is that like the Flush King? Our neighbor swears by it. Maybe I should check the fit before I buy.
Thanks

Yes, that is the flush king..it just wont work on my oulet…the flush king is nice because it has a blade valve so the pressure isnt going both ways (into sewer hose and into tank) but into the tank or into the hose depending on if the blade valve is shut or not. Ive seen clear elbows with a hose attachment for flushing out but no blade/gate valve so Im not sure how the pressure works on those , but I dont think as good.
One other thing I noticed this weekend about my sewer is that after I dumped at the state park I still had toilet paper and waste inside the tank ( I could see it thru the toilet) and my tank was full when I dumped. The dump station was level where you drive up to dump and the dump connection was at a very good incline. I am not sure why my tank didnt fully empty, or they all do that unless you use a flush of somesort. I also noted that apparently the santitizer/decomposer Im using isnt doing the job as I would like…when I use my thetford portipotty I use a blue liquid santitizer/decomposer and their is never any toilet paper or waste when I dump. I think I will be changing brands.

Kim, seems to me that one possible solution lies on RV-net forum…..I'll try to get a bearing on the item I'm talking about…..photos, illustration, discussion, etc. I think it's a wand / hose combo with water shut-off valve for insertion directly through top of toilet, where the black tank is mounted just below.
