While I was under my 16 BH today checking things out before our trip to Yosemite, I happened to notice a large gash in the black water tank that we must have gotten on our way home from Florida in March. Does anyone have any fail safe way to repair this tank as I really dont want to have to try to replace it at this time. I know that the tank is made of ABS plastic so I suppose that I could use a piece of ABS sheet and some ABS cement like I did while making the door panels for one of my Hot Rods but maybe there is a better way, NO? After the repair has been made I plan to make two guards out of aluminum sheet to protect the grey and black tanks from future damage. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, Mike.
