Hey guys just a quick question, my wife and I have just purchased a 2012 spree escape e19sb. We have dry camped a few times now and just love it!

one concern is about out holding tank levels. Both the black and fresh water tanks levels are able to keep an eye on since we can look down the toilet and see threw the fresh water tank. But my concern is about the grey water, any suggestions on making sure I don't back up?

Thanks for ur imput, total newb here :)

We look in the shower drain. If I see water I drain. The grey water is the quickest to build so I usually just drain that tank every couple of days anyway. I have a 20 RBT with a 30 gallon grey water tank and it fills fast.ConfusedSmile

Wouldn't the gray water seen when looking down the shower drain just be the water in the p-trap?  I can't imagine that it wouldn't have a trap, but maybe it doesn't?

Our 'method' of knowing when the gray water tank is full is seeing when the water backs up into the tub.  It's either that, or planning to dump the tanks sooner than later as a precautionary measure.

Ive always been told it will come up in my tub if its overfull, hasnt happened yet though. If your really concerned about it you might want to consider one of those external holding tanks on wheels, I have one and its the ABSOLUTE BEST thing ive purchased for my sportsmen classic. They come in various sizes but it sure beats having to hook up your trailer to go dump before you are ready to leave the campground. They are super easy to dump too, you just hook to your trailer hitch and off you go to the campground dumping station.

Sure takes the worry out of it .
