Hi, I have a 2012 Escape 16BH.  I have about 3,000 miles on it and was thinking about checking the wheel bearings.  

When looking at the owner's repair manual, It referenced an "ultralube bearing" that had a grease zerk.  It sauid that KZ has been using these since 2004.  

When I pulled the wheel cap off to look, all I saw was the traditional wheel bearing cap.   I am now pretty confused.

Do any of you have the Ultralube fitting on your axles?  

Also, how often do you repack your bearings?
