Is there a trick to removing the grates on this 2 burner drop-in for cleaning purposes? (I'm waiting on my manual to arrive.)
Thanks.

Nevermind, You just lightly squeeze the grate to relieve tension & they lift right out.

I wonder if the 13FK has the same stove top as the 16BH because I've been trying to figure out the best way to clean my stove, wiping around the grates just doesn't work that well.

From what I've read, there are either some retaining clips under the cooktop; where you have to remove the thumb screws on top to access them. Or in my case the grates have a 'open' section on them which allows you to squeeze away the tension to lift them out.

Mine also are removed be squeezing next to the open space – thanks for the tip. My stove top is a lot cleaner now.

I bought some tin foil burner inserts that go under the grate for my stove at camperworld esp made for our small cooktops..when they get messey i simply throw them out.
