What might I do to repair the damaged aluminum roof due to hail damage or tree limb? It isn't "what if", but when.

John;
I need a schematic of the supports under the aluminum roof in order to mount my solar panel to my 2010 14RK. I don't know where to screw it down.
This could be the same info you would need to repair a puncture in the aluminum skin.

John and Suzy, I'd contact KZ-RV Customer Service direct at 1-866-472-5460 to obtain a schematic from Engineering dept. Perhaps, you could locate roof joices with use of electronic stud-finder……granted you risk screwing into hidden wiring, causing an electrical short.
I'm guessing that "repairing roof" will involve the installation of heavy gauge vinyl sheeting, rubber or both to cover entire roof area. Maybe I won't have to wait for the day that the roof gets ripped.

K-Z has sent the roof drawing with the caveat that puncturing the roof would void the one-year warranty.
Has KZ-RV increased the warranty period from six months to one year for the 2011 model year? :-)John

I don't mind the void on my warranty because my year is almost up as is. I probably won't get around to getting the solar panels installed until this summer anyways.
Thanks
Steve
