Hi everyone,

My Wife and our 2 teen boys are heading out this week on our first trip, it is only going to be a weekend at a nearby lake but it is a shakedown trip to see what we are needing, missing etc..

I am pulling it with a recently purchased 1999 GMC sierra SLE with airbags on the back shocks and full trailer package, it was originally purchased to haul a stock car trailer for my brother in laws race car.

Wish us luck we are going to need it..LOL!

My ultimate goal is to get to the point where everything is in the TT when we leave. Every time, I say "Hey I need one of those"

Surprised

We are back and will be posting pics soon as we find out how, and it has been brought to my attention that my moniker (LoinRanger) is to suggestive…I can see how that could be taken in a suggestive way and will be changing it it actually refers to the name of my BBQ team and company, logo is

things we learned from the trip, thicker mattresses needed, real sheets and comforters are a plus, became a fan of sportsmen classic camper, and  much more

Dave, now that plate appeals to me…..looks like yummy BBQ.  Let me know when it will be available, again and I won't be late for dinner.  (I wish I knew how to drag your "food photo" into my post.)

I get a kick out of your company logo.Laugh (Cute!)  Thanks for the photos.  Looks like your family has done this camping thing before.  I yet have to learn to post photos.  I plan to take photos of our TT mods over the next week or so, then post them on our site and / or Flickr, that Kim / Teaspoon and Corrine / Admin set up for us.

Thanks, Dave for the additional photos of the offset stick-burner que.Laugh  How does the offset que work (the principles involved)?

the small square box on the right pic is a firebox, you build a fire of hardwood mesquite, maple, apple any hardwood and there is an opening into the bigger cylinder chamber where you cook indirectly at aprox 250 degree's
