Hi All,
It's been a while since I was on last but I have some news. We purchased a new S19Sb this am. Now I am concerned that I may not be able to maintain my membership in this forum because I purchased a KZ Spree Escape E19SB and not a Sporsmen 19SB. Both units are manufactured by KZ and we asked the factory rep. who happened to be there if he thought we could remain members. He agreed that it would be totally up the club but he felt being the same manufacturer it should not be a problem. He further mentioned that the major difference in the two lines is fiberglass exterior and able to choose interior fabrics and colors.
We will be anxiously waiting to hear from you folks.
Thanks,
Ken & Marilyn

i would think that since this forum is to share experiences with our Classics, and yours is a Classic on steroids, you would still be welcome. I mean you are still going to be having the same types of issues and experiences.

Thanks for your reply to my posting, sandersmr. I found your comment about the Escape being a "Classic on steroids" very funny. Good humor!! I was pleased to read your point of view on the subject. Seems you hit the nail on the head since the Classic and the Escape are so much the same. I hope any additional replies are as favorable as yours since we really enjoy the Forum so much. Thanks again.

Not only do I think you should remain a member, but I am also interested in your experiences with the Escape. I think they will be similar to those with a Classic. Saw the Escape at the Cleveland RV show a few weeks ago – very nice looking trailer! I like the interior design options as well as the exterior.
If the Classic models are siblings, then the Escapes are the cousins. All one happy family!

Thanks Doug577. It's great to get another positive response. Also appreciate your positive comments on the Escape. We obviously fell in love with it enough at the show to buy it. We should be picking it up in about 2 weeks. The dealer will be installing the equalizer hitch, brake controller, and anti-sway. We will then have to wait for the weather to warm enough to head south to New Mexico for a couple of weeks where the weather is warmer. That will be our trial run except for maybe a local one day run just to check-out the car and trailer combo. Will post the results. Thanks again for your reply and we look forward to a happy experience on the forum. Ken & Marilyn

Ken and Marilyn, WELCOME is my vote. The club's original "welcome statement"….."This site was created for the benefit of Sportsmen Classic owners and those who are admirers of the Sportsmen Classic product. Please note that Sportsmen Classic Owners Club and SportsmenClassicClub.com are not affiliated with KZRV LP of Shepshewana, IN." (Reference Home tab)

Hi Smilin John, Thanks for the welcome! It is very much appreciated. It seems from the responses we have received that we are in fact, welcome to the Forum. That is great news for us and we can pickup the camper with an even better feeling now. We will be picking it up on the 28th of Jan. and of course, are quite excited. It will be hard to put it in storage, but our weather will prohibit us from using it much sooner than March when we will take the maiden voyage to southern New Mexico. It's fairly comfortable down there by then. In the meantime we will take it out on the road to insure the car and trailer combo are ok and that I am comfortable with them too. I did go to the "Home" tab and read what you were referencing. It is quite fitting for our circumstance and quite clear that we are OK for the Forum. We would like to thank you again for the welcome and look forward to many more happy times on the Forum. Happy Camping. Ken & Marilyn
