I had noticed this summer when I went camping and it was 90 degrees and humid out that when using the ac I aquired alot of condensation in the trailer. In fact when I opened up my kitchen cupboards under the sink and stove, the doors were actually beaded with condensation. I also reached under the sink to feel the bottom of the sink and noticed it was covered in wetness too. After drying everything off with a towel, I kept the cupboard doors open and went back in a couple of hours and didnt see any condensation buildup anywhere. I guess in this hot and humid weather I will have to leave my doors open somewhat so I dont ruin the laminate with moisture. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and if perhaps some of that damp rid product would help.I am going to go to walmart today and see If i can located some. I just worry about hidden places like pressboard that condensation is forming that I cant see or get to, I would hate for anythng to warp.

A friend who owns a teardrop trailer turned me onto these when I asked about condensation. He said it works like a charm … http://www.dealtime.com/xPP-de…..humidifier

Yep. In weather like this, condensation just can't be avoided. Along with wiping up the excess, like you mentioned, try the Damp Rid products, or even more affordably, cat litter.
Happy Camping!

Hi again, Kim!
I removed the cabinet door below the refer. I used the smallest kitty litter tray found at Wally Mart. It just fits the storage space. Also store litter scooper / strainer and additional litter in the storage space. Works out great for Sweetie and us, too. When Sweetie is along, I have to remember to change litter often, lest "stinky" gradually appears. I didn't realize the cat litter would be doing double-duty. Condensation has not shown its "ugly head" with a/c running. Temps have been 90+ for several weeks, here in Minnesota.

I agree, I use the same Eva-500 product that you have been using for some time. I just plug it in to a power strip, since with its weight, tends to want to fall out of elect. socket, if not supported.
