I don't buy the whole argument about it being able to be pulled with a smaller vehicle. Even if I towed this thing with a GOLF CART it would scrape the heck out of the back. I just got back from our First trip with the 16BH and I don't see how K-Z would expect this camper to make it anywhere. Every single gas station, railroad track, parking Lot, etc I pulled into I just hear SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETCH and surprised I never ripped out the Sewer Tanks or VALVE. At one Turn onto a gas station I bottomed out so bad, the cap for the Sewer Hose holder in bumper tore off and my sewer Hose dragged all over the street.
Anyways… Just had to rant. I mean don't this companies test these things out before they mass produce? I've already ordered the Dexter Spring Over Axle Conversion and CANT WAIT til it arrives.

A lot of the people here have taken their trailers to shops where they can easily reverse the axle setup for you. They've all said it's worked out brilliantly for them too. I haven't done mine yet but will be in about a month or so.

OK … I've been reading an awful lot about these trailers being too low. My van … 2011 Toyota Sienna … seems low to being with. Am I just looking for more problems if I get the 14RB that I've ordered??
It was my intentions to be using this for my road trips to Alaska, Newfoundland and Route 66 and numerous small trips in between. Maybe I should look at something else?? Or maybe just hotel and motel it??
What is this reversing the axle thing I keep reading about??
Sorry but I am totally new to this whole travel trailer thing and I don't want to be disappointed before I get out of the driveway.
Thanks
Karsty

Thanks Julie … I appreciate your input. Since my tow vehicle is new I will assume that the springs and shocks are good for towing. I will talk to my dealer and ensure that I get the property hitch etc. I won't be doing too much if any off road travel with this van becasue it is too low to begin with … and certainly not with a trailer attached.
If and when the time comes I may look at a different tow vehicle but for now I LOVE my van.
Thanks again

I scraped one time pulling out of the driveway. I realized that it was the tongue jack that sticks down so low, even in the full up position. I haven't had any other problems with dragging bottom. Julie is correct, though. Take the bumps slower.

I've had no problems whatsoever in towing my 16 (stock height still). I drove mine home from Buda to San Antonio. Most of the trip was on the freeway, but I did drive a good distance on the streets to get to my RV storage place. San Antonio (the northern part where there are hills) doesn't have very even or well maintained streets either.
