I also am frustrated about the format. If anyone has any suggestions, I definitely want to learn from them.
I will, of course, Keep posting. We will be camping at Dale Hollow State Park in Central Kentucky with our Son and his family. Will take a bunch of pic's and post a few. Hope it works out better.
Anyone have a good idea as to how to get into the top bunk? Tricky!!

Carol, sometimes in the past I've seen where a ladder was employed to climb up to the top bunk. Former DW and I took an Eastern Carribean cruise. I had to go up the ladder to reach the top bunk. Carol, my intent here is certainly not sarcasm.
Kim and Carol, I have never put any digital photos on my computer, let alone any site, like ours or Fiickr. Please help, I'll have photos next week to post, but will need your help.John

Looks like you had a great time! How did you secure the portable tank to the back? Just bungee cord? We have yet to take our maiden voyage since it keeps raining every weekend
And about getting up the top bunk: haven't tried and don't plan to. We doubled up the bottom mattress for DD and use the top for storage (plastic bins)

Actually, there is a bracket that is specially made for that purpose. We had the dealer install it when we purchased our unit.

I guess I will try again :). We took our maiden voyage to "Seven Points Corps of Engineers Camp Ground right outside of Nashville, TN" What a great time we had. I am going to try to post pictures again. We have taken several other trips and will try to post pictures and experiences at a later time.

Thank you for posting your photos. I too want to purchase a Barker Tote like your's pictured above. We have the 14RK and believe that the dump outlet probably is the same height above ground as your 16BH, both having 13″ tires. Appears that you have the Barker 15 or 22 gallon tote. What has your experience been having the 16BH dump outlet at approx 7″ and the 15 / 22 gallon tote "fill cap height" at 11-1/4″ (with its wheels, attached)? Reference Barker website product specs. Perhaps, I should consider the other flatter 30-1/2″ x 33-1/2″ Barker 15 Gallon Camper Tote (part # 28508), with a fill cap height of 7″. How do you compensate for the difference in height?

John, that is a problem. I purchased the auxiliary tank and had it installed when I purchased the 16BH. I had no idea of the problem of emptying the black/grey tanks into it. It really is a problem as the receiving opening from the auxiliary tank is a bit higher than the openings on the RV. Bummer!! If you have this tank, you just have to find a campsite where there is a downhill coming off where your discharge valves are on the RV.
Like you said, if there is another auxiliary tank out there with a lower inflow port, that is the solution.

This is good to know about the "low profile" tank :) That's what I enjoy about this forum, learn from other people's mistakes LOL

CarolandJack, I ordered the Thetford SmartTote 18 (2-wheel), which comes with a sewer hose attached that angles up to the gray / black outlet of the Sportsmen Classic Series of TT (s). This is the best solution I could find after much looking / speaking to customer services.

Perhaps, you could contact your dealer for a workable solution. Perhaps trade for a Thetford Smart Tote 18, 27 or 35 gallon……see Thetford website / download manual.

John: Thanks so much. I will definitely contact him about this issue. I am so happy to hear there is a solution. I looked up the Thetford Smart Tote as you suggested and it looks like a winner.
