Hi,
I'm considering a 14RB or 16BH but am concerned at how wavy the roof is.
The six I looked at from13 to 19 feet all looked similar.
They were buckled up about 3 inches and not just uniformly raised up in the middle, but randomly high and how all over. Like they were used sheets of aluminum that had been blown off a roof in an earlier life.
How do your roofs look and has anyone had theirs long enough to know about the durability ?
thanks

Welcome to the forum, Carl. This past Saturday, DW and I brought our new 14RK home. Sunday I modified the bathroom vent to include the single-speed Vortex 12VDC fan, tapping into the adjacent 12V light. While I had the the original "Ventline" vent apart, I noted that the aluminum roof was the thinest aluminum material that I've ever seen, barring aluminum foil. I'm hoping that I can keep the trailer out of all hail storms. Only time will tell, though. I found that our aluminum roof is flat as a pancake. The aluminum roof is supposedly laid over 3/8″ plywood per KZ artist drawing in their brochure.

Speaking of roofs. Does you know the best way to wash the roof? The only thing I can think of is getting on a ladder and using a long handle brush. I can't imagine that it is strong enough to be on top of.

My roof looks like waves on the ocean — not a flat spot to be seen.

I wouldn't stand on it. I plan on using a ladder and a pressure washer or a long handled brush.
