So how many of you used the shower yet? I haven't yet but I'm 6ft and have to crouch a bit when I stand in there. I'm wondering how, logistically speaking, difficult or easy this may be.

6'1″ here & let me tell you it is difficult. My 7yo loves the tub that is just his size & my 5'2″ wife thinks the shower is great.
Honestly, the only way I can do it is either with the knees constantly bent or down on my knees. As you have probably already noticed, the ceilings in the trailer are not made for taller folks. I am always hitting my head on the light fixture in the center of the trailer. Well, the tub sits a couple inches off the floor so it is doubly tough to stand. As far as the water shutoff on the showerhead, it barely trickles on ours. The ring holding the shower hose is also a nuisance. Remove it & your life will be simpler. Don't forget some silicone in the screw holes.

When we had our 16BH in for a water leak, they siliconed a triangular piece of plastice weir at the front of the shower – between the tub top and the front wall – thinking that would solve the leak. We hadn't used the shower on that trip. Anyway, these weirs would help redirect the water back in to the tub, especially if you have the shower curtain in front of them.
And DBF, who is 6'6″ is the only one who's actually tried our shower – he could do it but it was very very tight for him and he was hunched over. I've been a wimp about trying it and we've had access to nice bathroom facilities most places we've gone so far.

We have the 19SB and I am 5'2. I love the shower. On our last trip, the park was pretty empty so I gave in to my hatred of the facility bathrooms and out of the 6 showers, I took 2 in the camper. I put a shower curtain up all the way around the wall. I used those "removable glue" hooks to hang it up and then I used velcro to hold the shower curtain down at the bottom to keep the curtain from flying up and"sticking" to me as I shower. This keeps the walls dry and the water in the tub. I cut a small hole for the hose to poke through. I do have trouble turning the water on and off since it is underneath the shower curtain, but if I keep some slack in the curtain, I am able to turn the knobs even with the shower curtain over them. I also turn the shower head off while soaping up and then turn it back on when rinsing off. My hair is long as well, so this takes alot of my time and water but so far I have not yet ever run out of hot water. I always feel great after I shower and believe that the bathroom is definetly the best part of owning a camper instead of tent camping. Hubby still uses the facility bathroom for most of his bathroom needs so I pretty much have claimed the bathroom all for me!

That's a nice idea using the shower curtain to help protect the walls.

Thanks. Its not the most attractive solution and it can be a pain to turn the water on and off with the shower curtain in the way but it works for now. It was inexpensive, didn't add any weight to the trailer and was easy to do.
