Answer: A freak hail storm. One hit us here in the Fox Cities back in July. The storage lot where I keep the trailer was in an area which got golfball size hail. My outer walls looked like someone took a ball bat to it about every 3 inches. Also made a hole in the mid vent cover. So after Progressive finished their assessment, the total came to within a couple hundred bucks of the total cost I paid for it. So they decided to total it out. Luckily it was less than a year old, so they paid the full insurable amount. Still was a tough day when I saw them tow it out of my driveway to the auction.
The good news is I just put a good deposit down on a new one I will have delivered in the spring. Only thing is I am still trying to decide between the 14RB and the 16RBT. Only concern is the additional 50lbs on the tongue wt. Will have to try it before buying otherwise would go with it due to the little bit roomier bathroom and separate bed. They we would be able to just leave the dinette set up all the time.
Great to see there are so many happy customers out there.

Carol, sorry this happenrd to your TT. How did the aluminum roof fair through all this?
Carol, why is 50 additional pounds additional tonge weight a concern? Shouldn't the 350 lbs. additional TT weight be more of a concern for your tow vehicle capacity?
