We have a reservation at a TX state park Friday – Sunday next weekend. I have therapy Friday morning so we can't leave until then. And finding a state park with an opening fairly close by was daunting – this is prime camping season in TX
Haven't been camping in a couple of months because of commitments and my knee surgery so I'm excited.
We, too, will be out at a TX state park this Friday-Sunday. You are correct when you say that this is prime camping season in TX. This will be our second trip out since buying our 19SB. It's supposed to be below freezing on Thanksgiving so our plan is to bring the trailer to the house on Thanksgiving day so we can run the heater to keep the pipes from freezing. Then we'll be heading out on Friday morning. Temps are supposed to be pretty good after Thanksgiving Day so I'm planning on having a blast camping this weekend. Keep an eye out for our Sportsmen. One day our paths may cross.
